No breakup breakdown here! Orlando Bloom was calm, cool, even cheerful on Friday, Oct. 25, just hours after news broke that the Lord of the Rings actor, 36, had separated from wife Miranda Kerr.
Appearing on Live With Kelly and Michael to promote his Broadway play, Romeo and Juliet -- costarring Condola Rashad as his star-crossed lover -- the hunky Australian was engaged and lively as he chatted with Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan. Neither he nor his hosts addressed the split from Kerr, 30, but they did talk about the couple's son, 2-year-old Flynn.

"He's about to go to gym class," Bloom bragged. "He seems to be just exploding into everything at the moment."
As previously reported, the Pirates of the Caribbean star and his model wife have parted ways after three years of marriage. "It's been a long time coming," a source told Us Weekly of the split.
A rep for Bloom confirmed the news to E! News. "In a joint statement, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced that they have been amicably separated for the past few months," the rep said. "After six years together, they have recently decided to formalize their separation."

"Despite this being the end of their marriage," the statement continued, "they love, support, and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family."
