Seaman Beatrice R. Winn, daughter of Genine Hardin and stepdaughter of Virgil E. Hardin of Spring Lake, has completed Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. She is a 2004 graduate of Harnett Central High School of Angier.

Seaman Amanda N. Flagler has completed Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. She is a 2010 graduate of Lumberton High School.

Pvt. Jared R. Naphy, son of Corina and Andrew Naphy of Hope Mills, has completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C.

Pvt. Brett T. Clemens, son of Sheila Clemens of Hope Mills, has graduated from Army basic training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

Reserve Pfc. Edmund M. Prevatte III, son of Eddie and Sharon Prevatte of Lumberton, has graduated from Army basic training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is a 2004 graduate of Lumberton High School.

Pvt. Artez D. Edwards has graduated from Army basic training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is a 2010 graduate of Fairmont High School.

Airman 1st Class Shanatava Q. Davis, daughter of Willie and Katina Davis of Laurel Hill, has graduated from Air Force basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. She is a 2011 graduate of Scotland High School, Laurinburg.

Airman 1st Class Jonathan Santana, son of Dianora Santana of Fayetteville, has graduated from Air Force basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. He is a 2006 graduate of Massey Hill Classical High School and received a bachelor's degree in 2011 from Fayetteville State University.

Airman Ashley B. Jaks, daughter of Frederick Jaks of California and Pamela Jaks of Hope Mills, graduated from Air Force basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

Pvt. Ashleigh R. Sketch, daughter of Karla and Robert Sketch of Fayetteville, has graduated from Army basic training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. She is a 2009 graduate of Fayetteville Christian School.

Reserve Airman Ryan G. Jones, son of David and Jill Jones of Raeford, has graduated from Air Force basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. He is a 2011 graduate of Hoke High School, Raeford.

Seaman Apprentice Christopher A. Dionne, brother of Casey R. Oldham of Fayetteville, has completed Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. He is a 2004 graduate of Cape Fear High School.

Sean Raymond, a 2012 graduate of N.C. State University, has been commissioned into the Air Force as a second lieutenant. He is the son of Donna and Rolland Raymond of Fayetteville and a 2008 graduate of Jack Britt High School.

Jackie Hall, a 2012 graduate of N.C. State University, has been commissioned into the Air Force as a second lieutenant and is now an intelligence officer assigned to Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas. She is the daughter of Rosa and Corey Kell of Fayetteville and a 2008 graduate of Seventy-First High School.
