Apple?s late-January event reportedly to be about iBooks and publishing

TechCrunch is reporting that Apple?s late-January event won?t feature any hardware at all, but will rather be?solely?about iBooks and publishing. TechCrunch?s source went as far as saying that the event is not major. What makes the most sense to us is at the event Apple rolling out a text book platform of some sort.

According to the source the event will not involve any hardware at and instead will focus on publishing and eBooks (sold through Apple?s iBooks platform) rather than iAds. Attendance also be more publishing industry-oriented than consumer.

The event will unveil improvements to the iBooks platform according to the same source, and is not ?major.?
